See It From Her focuses on empowering women and girls, particularly those from isolated, marginalised or disadvantaged communities or backgrounds.
It aims to give the tools and support women and girls need to represent themselves, celebrate their identity, tell their own story and to be heard. We recently worked with homeless women in April and girls from the Roma Gypsy community in May. We are running a photography workshop in July with women who are survivors of sexual assault, sexual violence or sexual harassment. Work made will be shown on The Big Screen in Millennium Square in conjunction with Bristol Zero-Tolerance in August. For women, this is the opportunity to use Photography to have their say about sexual assault, to tell their own story or to speak out to other survivors.
