The Antics Joke Show Ft. Steves and Wooster!

The monthly comedy sensation hits Cafe Kino on Saturday 4th November. With Halloween over, and Christmas yet to begin, what better way to fill this sweet spot of time by seeing “The best stand-up, sketches and improv in town” - all for the indy price of a fiver!

It always seems so simple to begin with. Whether he's cleaning Aunt Agatha's cottage when the chimney explodes, or helping Gussie Fink-Nottle woo the girl of his dreams and accidentally proposing to her himself, Bertie Wooster can't catch a break!

Thankfully he can always rely on his inestimable valet Jeeves to help him out of a tight spot.

Prepare to laugh your socks off as events spiral out of control, culminating in a fantastically frantic and farcical finale in this lovingly improvised tribute to the works of P.G Wodehouse.

House sketch team Up The Antics will be bringing a hilarious combination of golden oldies from their hit fringe show "Geek Salad", as well as some brand new material - expect silliness, billiness and a healthy dose of fun.

"Up The Antics ... are taking the city by storm" - (The Bristol Magazine)

Riordan has been performing since 2016, and has won or reached the final of a multitude of local stand-up competitions, including winning the Chortle Student Comedy Award this year. The Antics are delighted to be welcoming this Bristol boy done good to the Antics Joke Show!

“His taut, creative writing will surely propel him to great things” - Steve Bennet, Chortle

Emily’s accessible and inventive stand-up style has made her a hit on the London circuit. She’ll be heading down the M4 corridor to Bristol to be performing for you - see her before she hits it big in the Big Smoke, and the next time she’s in Bristol it’s at an expensive weekend comedy club!

Regular MC Luke Mallison is back in the Antics Joke Show driving seat, after returning from a self-imposed exile where all he did was play Skyrim and eat crisps. Luke has been performing stand-up, improv and sketches for five years, has been described as “hilarious” by Broadway Baby, and has supported Russell Howard and Nathan Caton.
