Lands End - John O'Groats. Phone Credit For Refugees Fundraiser.

Helena Kelly is walking from Lands End to John O'Groats from the 4th of May to the 27th of June in order to raise money for phone credit for refugees across the world.

"During my time in Calais I saw first hand how valuable this charity is and how often phone credit is requested. This charity provides a lifeline to vulnerable people and is expanding rapidly to help refugees and displaced people all across the world. Phone credit allows people to access support services and information and to stay in contact with friends and family. Volunteers on the ground use mobile phones to stay in contact with extremely vulnerable young people. This Charity does so much to improve the lives of refugees and displaced people around the world and every penny donated goes towards phone credit."

On the 14th of May she'll be passing through Bristol where a special fundraising event will be held at Cafe Kino. The event will host live music, a talk from Helena about the charity she's raising money for, talks from other previous volunteers on their experiences, information on volunteering with Help Refugees in Bristol and abroad, a small clothes sale from Warehouse Wardrobe Vintage and more...
