The Antics Joke Show Ft. One Board Man!

Date: Saturday 29th July
Venue: Cafe Kino
Price: £5
Acts: One Board Man, Up The Antics, Rosalind Beeson, Ben Behrens, John Mcinnes

We’ve had such an amazing time with the ‘Antics Joke Show’ since its premiere last September, with an incredible cast of talented comedians joining us every month. We want to thank everyone who has participated in our shows, and to thank you, our fantastic audiences, for coming out each month. We’re going to be taking a break for the Summer, but before then, we bring you the final show of our first season, starring:

One man, one board, a pen, a musician, a piano, a story.

Do you need anything else to create a fully improvised play?

Inspired by members of the audience, a never-before-seen drama is performed through a series of hand drawn characters, brought to life through improvisation and imagination.

Created and Performed by John Gallagher
Improvised Music by Mike Fish

Up The Antics are proud to present a preview of their brand new sketch show ‘Geek Salad’. No beloved fantasy franchise, pop culture reference or sense of nerd nostalgia is safe from their brand of bizarre comedy. Established in 2014, this sketch and improvisational comedy group run the sell-out comedy night ‘The Antics Joke Show’, and release regular episodes of their original YouTube sketch-cast ‘Pipped at the Podcast’.

Member of house team Up The Antics, this will be Ros’s third time treading the boards at the ‘Antics Joke Show’. Her meta-deconstruction of pop culture, intelligent wit and fresh take on stand-up humour is a sure-fire cocktail to win you over. She has also performed at RipRoar Comedy Club and Bristol Underground Comedy, as well as warmed up television audiences for the BBC.
