Improv from …

Real Positive Poles

Bristol's premier sci-fi, improv comedy group presents Spon Trek: The Next Improvisation, a “wonderfully geeky,” [Edfringe Review] Star Trek episode made up completely on the spot.

Every episode is inspired by an audience suggestion of the title they've always wanted to see. Suitable for all levels of Star Trek and improv enthusiasm.

“[Y]ou’ll be kept grinning for the rest of the day … a breath of fresh air in a sea of increasingly bland comedy.” (Edfringe Review)

Sketches from …

Up The Antics

House sketch team Up The Antics will be bringing a hilarious combination of golden oldies from their hit fringe show "Geek Salad", as well as some brand new material - expect silliness, billiness and a healthy dose of fun.

"Up The Antics ... are taking the city by storm" (The Bristol Magazine)

Stand-up from …

Marti

Described by Arthur Smith (BBC, The Guardian) as ‘Hilariously naive’, Marti brings a European perspective to British quirks and hang-ups. Observational humour, throwaway puns and short stories make this act hugely entertaining, with a high gag rate.

‘...forced into an encore by an enthusiastic audience who loved him’ (Ross Gazette)

‘I was laughing so much at his jokes, I was struggling to breathe’ (Cheeky Monkey Comedy Club)

Rinkoo Barpaga

Rinkoo is a storyteller / comedian with immense stage presence and a reputation as an emerging stage talent within the deaf community, both in the UK and abroad. The American Comedy Institute said: “Rinkoo Barpaga is a born comedian and an engaging and daring performer.” The review followed his smash debut as a stand up comedian at The Gotham Comedy Club, New York in 2012.

MC: Ben Behrens

Ben is a standup comedian and theatre maker based in Bristol. He has contributed to BBC Radio 4 Extra's Newsjack, BBC Radio 4's Show What You Wrote, and his comedy plays 'Captain Morgan 1 & 2' have toured the country and won awards.
