KRAKE

Pedro Oliveira - Drums & Percussion
Jake McMurchie - Saxophone
Pete Judge - Trumpet
Jim Barr - Bass

KRAKE is the alter ego of Portuguese drummer Pedro Oliveira, best known for his work with the cult Portuguese art-rock group Peixe de Avião. This gig is the launch of his latest album, inspired by Bristol, an improvised collaboration between Pedro and Get The Blessing's Jim, Pete and Jake. KRAKE is a thing of austere, intelligent, and delicate beauty.

Harriet Riley - Solo Percussion

One of the most formidable musicians to emerge in Bristol in recent times, Harriet Riley is a multi-instrumental percussionist and composer. She works across a wide variety of genres, including contemporary dance, theatre, improvisation and groove music. This will be a special solo performance of new music, devised for the event
