Join brand new collective 24 Hour Mad Dash for a one-night-only tribute to anyone who will always, without fail, be up at 4 am before a deadline.

You who say: ‘think ahead!’ ‘hear my advice, do it now, do it steadily,’ we hear you, we see you! And we say - oh you are wise, and oh how we wish to heed your advice, oh how we chastise ourselves and vow ‘never again! Never again!’, each dawn that passes. BUT TONIGHT! We scorn all regret and disdain for the seldom-appreciated all-nighter. For tonight, we are willing makers, thinkers, of the last minute! We give ourselves freely and willingly to the creative potency of urgency, the frenzied freedom of The Mad Dash.

(Translation: come to Cafe kino at 6.30 on October 1st for glorified show-and-tell; an exhibition of last-minute creations. £2 a ticket.)

24 Hour Mad Dash needs you. Exhibition for one night only. Open call to artists, performers, musicians, writers, makers, thinkers, humans, chickens and cats to take on the challenge. 24 hours before the event the brief will be released. All participants will have 24 hours to respond. Responses will be shared and informally exhibited at Cafe Kino, 01st October 6.30-10.00. Accept the challenge to see what happens, come to meet other challenge-acceptors.
